Gamers Assembly 2017 – Preview

Known as one of the biggest LAN events in Europe, the Gamers Assembly (GA) will kick off in 3 weeks from now! We will spend the Easter weekend with 2000 gamers and almost 20,000 esports and Gaming enthusiasts. For the 18th edition, new novelties have been announced by the organisers. We are hyped to find out what these will be!

Taking place at the Parc des Expositions in Poitiers, France, tournaments, cosplays, an exhibiting village and much more is expecting participants and visitors during the 3-day long event (15-17th April 2017).

The World eSport team will be there with Press Passes, capturing the different tournaments, interviewing gamers and esports celebrities! Are you a gamer or a team attending a tournament? Do you want to be interviewed? Then contact us at

Whether it is on PC or Console, the GA will host several tournaments on the following:

PC Tournaments

League of Legends – Riot Games

CS GO – Valve

Overwatch – Blizzard

HearthStone – Blizzard

Rocket League – Blizzard (no more slots available)

Team Fortress 2- Valve

Trackmania Stadium – Ubisoft / Nadeo

Equipment to bring along

PC Players

  • Full (or portable) PC: CPU, screen, keyboard, mouse, cables
  • Network cable of at 10m
  • Compulsory headphones (no speakers allowed)
  • No power strip (those will be provided by the organisation)

Note: PCs must have an RJ45 network card


Console Players

      Thanks for your comment and question. We are attending the GA for both media coverage and analysis. We couldn’t have a proper stand at the event, but the press passes will let us interact with all of the actors in order to cover the event but also to discuss World eSport and gather feedback which will be really valuable for us and the growth of the platform.
